Hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy that uses smooth, heated stones to provide a relaxing and warming effect to a therapeutic massage. the therapist will hold a heated stone in their hand(s) while applying various massage techniques such as gliding strokes, deep tissue techniques, and trigger point therapy.

We will be offering both Basalt stone massage and Jade stone massage

Basalt stone massage will be offered as a combination of regular massage therapy with stones used on specific areas of the body. This will be a more therapeutic/deep tissue treatment while promoting healing and relaxation.
(stones may not be used on some areas of body)

Jade stone massage will be offered as a full body relaxation treatment. This stone massage will be less deep and more geared toward promoting healing through relaxation.

Basalt Stones:

Are made from volcanic rock that is high in magnesium and has been known for its ability to retain heat. This rock tends to be a bit more porous and is generally best for deep tissue and therapeutic stone treatments.

-Enhance quality of sleep short term

Jade stones:

Are a smoother softer stone made from Nephrite. There are two types of jade stone, Jadeite and Nephrite. Nephrite stones are the stones most commonly used for massage therapy because it is a less porous stone. Nephrite stones have commonly been found in nature and have been said to have healing properties within them. In China the gemstone is known as the " Stone of Heaven"

Benefits of Jade stone massage:

-Aids in discharging toxins in the body
